Relationships. Lately that word is prominent on the threshold of my heart. People come in and out of our lives. Some stay for a season, some a lifetime. I believe God’s been impressing on me the importance of being intentional with relationships, looking right in front of you to those He’s crossed our paths with.
When I met my husband three years ago, I watched him drive 25 minutes every evening from Henrietta to Wichita Falls to visit his mother in a nursing home. He’s a full-time contractor, and at that time was juggling numerous construction projects. Seldom did he miss an evening just to sit with her, enjoying a little conversation and tea.
