Wine and chocolate. Two of my favorite food groups, and yes, some things just deserve to have their own grouping. Fabulous on their own, but incredibly superb when paired together. A port sipped on its own may taste overly sweet but when sipped while enjoying a morsel of dark chocolate the sweetness is smoothed and the rich, complex flavors of dark plum, cherry, maybe even a hint of cinnamon are brought out. If you have never paired wine and chocolate, you are missing out. Luckily, I found a place where you can remedy that.
