Plants have always had a place in our homes. When I was growing up, it seems like I remember most of the plants we had were either gifts, or from a funeral when a loved one passed away.
When I got married and we bought a house of our own, plants were the furthest thing from my mind because I have what I like to call an “off-green” thumb.
Off-green means I’m not the worst at it, but sure not the best either.
After I gave birth to two babies at one time and have managed to keep them, and myself, alive, I figure I can do most anything. So I gave plants a try.
