Lacebark Elm Offering fall and winter magic

Once winter has set in North Texas, the landscape will tell the story if we, as gardeners, have planned for bark to take a place as a major focal point. It is when leaves are gone that the structure of branching and exfoliating of bark become prominent and often picturesque to the point of bringing out the camera.
