Knee health is vital for longevity in mobility and your fitness ability. Working with a vast array of clients over the years, from aging population, high fitness level athletes, children and recovering from injury clients, a common complaint is knee pain. I am a huge advocate of knee strengthening exercises in all fitness levels as we can all benefit.
Knee strengthening exercises build supporting muscles and help to improve flexibility around the knee. I wasn’t as kind to my knees in the past, pounding the pavement running, all the while smaller muscle groups were being ignored in other workouts as well and I set myself up challenges to further my fitness ability. I have spent the last year focusing on knee strengthening exercises and found great benefits. I want to encourage you that it is not too late to turn this ship around.
