Better known as the 11 in 11, The World Race is an 11 month mission trip that travels to 11 countries. A recent Midwestern State University graduate and Nocona, Texas native will soon embark on a life-changing journey to spread love and kindness around the world.
On August 5th, 2017, Alexandria Klimkoski will depart and make her way through Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Lesotho, South Africa, Nambia, Haiti and the Dominic Republic. Her desire, as well as The World Race’s mission, is to stretch and serve “the least of these” while immersed in real and raw communities.
This unique trip is a challenging adventure for racers to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that is not about self, but others.
As required for all World Racers, Alexandria recently returned excited and energized from training camp in Gainesville, Georgia. The 10-day training works with all participants to better prepare them for life and 11 months in the field.
Join us in congratulating Alexandria on this accomplishment and wishing her well.
